need some input on gas milage for a 350.

Ok so I have a question about gas milage on a 350. Say I was to have a freshly rebuilt 350, mild cam, and a holly carb with a stiff spring so as not to open up the 4 barrel (at all, or at least not unless full throttle). Anyone have any idea as to what type of gas milage I'd be able to squeeze out of that driving real nice like? :) Just trying to get some ideas, thats all. Oh and it would be in an 84 5 speed camaro.

depends on the size of the cam, the rear gears and the style of driving you have, but dont bank on havin more than 15 mpg, even driving like a granny

yea im not totally sure on the cam and all that. Its just that I may have the oppertunity (and money) to get an 84 v6 camaro, and to buy a 350 off a friend for cheap to rebuild. v8 muscle, v6 insurance. :)

More factors come into play, such as gears and what not mentioned above... but I agree not to expect more then around 15 mpg or so.
