Cruising some back roads planning out a run and this is what we found! Don't worry, this will not be part of the run. hahaha

theirs a few roads like that up this way. best part is, if you screw your car up, its covered. there real roads that the county never finished, so insurance has to cover it. we found this out when it was raining one night and we drove a friends jeep threw one. it sucked water and put a rod threw the block. insurance covered it because it was a real road and totaled the jeep over it. he ended up getting way more than it was worth.

Who's insurance pays it, the counties or your own? If you only have liability you would be screwed I imagine.

That looks like a sweet road to go rally style on. Hit that water at about 60, would be a hell of a photo opp.

I would imagine that would be similar to jumping out of a helicopter and hitting the water from 75+ feet up... like hitting a concrete wall. If he hit that at 60, there would probably be alot of damage. Maybe I'm wrong tho..

And yea, you got balls to do that, I would never do that, lol.

Even I wouldn't do that.

I've been through some pretty deep off road puddles at speed, but never a creek.

(The truck stalled..my first time out and I tried going through too fast...wouldnt restart because the tailpipe was under water...took 5 or so tries to restart after it was pulled out)

i just tried that 2 nights ago but i was on 78 in the slow lane i made it to the middle and the car shut off i had to get out and push the bitch trying not to get clipped . damn cold air, the water was higher than the filter but she didnt hydrolock i had to wait like 20 min before it would start, it blew some white smoke but it cleared out very scary. i made the hour drive home with wet shoes and pants( up to my knee) but i survived standing in a river on 78
