Brake Rotors and Pads

Hey guys im going to be upgrading my brakes over my easter break from school. My rotors are slightly warped (pretty sure they are stock and have 97k miles on them) so im looking into new rotors and pads.

Whats a good rotor pad set up? Im not going big brake it or anything. Just rotors and pads.

Thoughs comments would be wonderful

apparently i'm alone on this one but i suggest getting new rotors and pads. brembo blanks can be found pretty cheap, almost the same price of cutting your stock ones, but when i had warped rotors cutting them did not help, so thats why i suggest new ones. Green stuff pads are good, HPS isn't bad either.

Yea Im getting new rotors mine are warped a but. I can get them cut for free and everything if I wanted it but Integra stock rotors are undersized and cant be machined im pretty sure. My roomates parents own a garage so I might just do my brakes there.

i agree, if they are warped, get the brembos

are they better then normal rotors? I plan on doing some autox on them this summer so I want something that can be for my daily driving and some fun

on my civic i upgraded to slotted brembos with hps pads. I had no problems with them, other then the HPS pads are very dusty, but they preformed well. i highly suggest you do your brakes on your own, it's a simple job, hardest part to do alone is flushing the brake lines. but if you got a friend or GF just have them pump the pedal for you. ;)

Well we would be doing the brakes just in his parents shop in a lift and stuff. PLus all the tools we need

brembo blanks are just their basic oem replacement rotors. they arent expensive normally, but i wouldnt necessarily consider them to be necessarily better than other reputable brands. common belief is that rotors are rotors, unless you are serious about racing.
pads do make a huge difference so focus your energy and your money there instead. just make sure that you get a set of pads that are well suited for what you're going to use them for. buying too much pad can result in horrible braking, so dont make that mistake.
