i feel like the picture is lacking something... perhaps its not quite close enough to the branch/buds... or maybe the branch is too plain for my taste... not bad needless to say.. just an opinion.

i'm with you, it's a great picture but it doesn't draw me in. I think i'd like to see more detail in the branch and buds, maybe it's the water dropletts that mask that level of detail?

Yeah i like them but nothing is exciting there. Thought the color and the water drops were good thats why i posted them.

the greens are very rich, but the little buds look out of focus to me, but it might be due to the water? but still great pics. not knocking that at all. but when people skills get better I start to be more critical knaamean?

I think it was because of the water although i was focusing on the branch itself. It was my 80-200 at 2.8 but i don't think the dof is that shallow tho it may very well be.
