edit: P.S. I didn't know what the 22B chassis was. I did some googling and apparently it's the name of the chassis of my car - 2000 Impreza RS 2.5 - uses. (So sue me for not knowing the name of my car's chassis.) I couldn't immediately find any more info than that. Anyone want to shine some light on this for me? Have they stopped building the 22B? What makes this chassis so special? I assume it is because it is nimbler and more maneuverable.

I'm betting on a new impreza, possibly WRX. Although the STi wouldn't suprise me too much. Now the question is who has the credentials to get me in to see it unveiled. $100, plus gas money to the person who gets me to New York and in that show to see that car unveiled.

Its probably going to be the new STi Hatch, considering they have been saying it would be revealed at the NY Auto Show, which is only a day later on April 6th, and its about the biggest legend Subaru has ever had.

The Subaru Impreza WRX 22B STi version is a handmade 2 door coupe based on the Subaru Impreza contested the World Rally Championship. Four hundred of these were built for the Japanese domestic market and were sold out within 48 hours. The Impreza WRX 22B STi Version features EJ22 2.2litre turbocharged engine, 4WD system, intercooler water splay, ventilated disc brakes, Bilstein inverted suspension, 17 x 8.5 inch BBS wheels fitted with Pirelli 235/40 P-Zero tyres and a twin plate ceramic/metal clutch. With a widened body, it is 80mm wider than an Impreza WRX at both the front and rear.

you ricer!!! i predict that the front facia will be different on the sti unlike the current ones where they all share the same front facia. its just way to classy for the sti. i deffinatley will go test drive once they come in.

Well, I can say that as much as I love WRX's, it was never for their looks. It was always the performance. Yea, I wish it didn't look like a bland family car, but if it can throw up the same kind of numbers than **** it.

Am I the only one who noticed that they left out the 4 piston brakes on the front & the 2 piston brakes in the rear? yeah, its great that they added low end torque, but whats the point if they remove the better brakes?:screwy:

Looks too much like a mazda 3 for me. I'd stick with the 04-05 STI's.
