As if the scratches and chip marks on my cars windshield weren't bad enough, some idiot at work tried buffing the glass a while back and swirled it.

Glass was just cleaned too, that's how bad it is.

The glare is ridiculous and it's time to fix this.

Could anyone recommend a place to have my glass polished?

was that idiot you or ray? There is a guy that appraisal uses that repairs glass by buffing it with this diamond compound. Go down and ask about it. Im sure the pricing will be on par with a replacement though.

Poopy tooth took some 1500 to it back in the day.

I might look into getting this diamond compound and doing it myself.

i know cars we get in that have the glass etched by someone messing up and spilling like wheel acid or all purpose on a window, ive buffed windows that were pretty rough with diamond cut and they came out pretty well.

it may be worth it to just replace the windshield. try calling around and see if there is any local companies that would do it. at my dealership we have a guy that stops by and replaces windshields in the parking lot in under an hour. its got to be cheaper than going to a body shop and you dont have to worry about paying for someone to fix it and have it not come out as good as you would like it.

not to be far off topic but does anyone know of a good way to remove haze from plastic headlights. i have the tools to use to buff it out i just dont which product is best.

I did the wetsanding method. 800 grit,, 1500 grit, then scratch-x by mothers, and hit them with a buffer...fantastic! PM me if u need more info

If I can learn how to do it myself, that's better than paying someone else to do it. My car is an 89, and all the windows could use some touching up.
