I finally have enough money (not really that much) to buy something else for my car's suspension. I'mthinking either an IPD/Rallitek 22mm FSB or a cusco front strut tower bar, any suggestions?

Well how does it feel now? Do you have the rear sway bar installed?

not an option listed but a good set of tires > those items.

i wouldnt worry about a fsb to be honest, and a strut bar really doesnt do much on our cars either.
i dont know what you have done and what you dont, but effective suspension mods are:
-rear swaybar
-rear endlinks
-good tires
-good performance alignment (stock settings suck)
-performance springs (not just for looks)
-upgraded struts

you could also think about simple brake stuff like better pads, oem brake upgrades, stainless steel lines, better fluid, etc.

I have ground control springs which i love, cobb tuning 25 mm rsb with perrin endlinks and that is it so far. I won't ever have the money for better struts but i am saving for Cooper Zeon 2xs tires. Anything else i can get...braces?

edit: i want to autox this upcoming spring/summer if that counts for anything

if you dont have the money, then save a little more, dont be in a rush to spend money on your car when a better yielding upgrade is only a few hundred away

If you can, save up for a set of both summer and winter tires (or keep your current all-season's for winter.) Tires are a huge deal, and (generally) a set of summer tires will be way stickier than the best all seasons.

But that'd be expensive, and if you want a better driving experience and not all out grip... fender braces are fairly cheap and get great reviews. And a good alignment is definitely a good suggestion, and shouldn't run you that much.

How about camber plates? You can dial in some - for events and + it for street. Adding a front sway can increase understeer, but not sure how your car reacts currently, so that might be a good thing. If you're gonna do auto-x'ing, maybe some better brake fluid and pads, even though thats not suspension like you asked.

after much thought i've decided to buy project mu brake pads, ate brake fluid, and new brake lines. However, should i go with rallitek's steal braided lines which are $139, or project mu's for $279? Would i be paying soley for name or is one truly better than the next?

post links to both. with ss brake lines, even w/ coatings, it's gonna be hard to justify a 140 dollar difference. but post the links.. we'll check em out

I would say neither.
Neither say D.O.T. spec-but that's just me.

The first sets of comments about how to prioritize your suspension desires make sense.

dear god why would you buy project mus? they are for show cars not performance.
i really hope that you havent made the purchase yet, and that you dont. do some more homework on nasioc or rs25 or something on what brake pads everyone is using to find out what people are most happy with, i doubt you will hear project mu talked about much at all.
for brake lines i'd just get goodridge ss lines, and for pads i'd look into Hawk, EBC, Carbotech, or Ferodo.
but i agree with what was said above, the tires are goign to be real important so maybe just keep saving a bit until you can afford them. having summer tires/wheels and winter tires/wheels is really the way to go if you want to get the most out of your car so see if you can pull that off.

Between them, I'd say the rallitek, but what about goodridge or stoptech?

I couldn't find goodridge's to fit my car, so i looked at stoptech and couldn't find any of their brakeliens to fit either. If you could help me find them and post a link or something tht would be most appreciated
