Dodge daytona sleeper

i'm on frankford ave at knights rd and two cars ahead of me is a red dodge daytona and he's goin back and forth at the red light(obviously doesn't kno how to drive a stick) so i thought nothing of it.....the car in front of me turns so i went and me and him were next to each other so i decided to *cursing* on him....haha was i wrong....i passed him in 2nd at about 5000 rpm but i stayed on it don't you kno i look over and he's right next to me....i was like wtf...so i floored it and started pullen ahead....i got ahead of him but he was hangen wit me pretty good until an old guy thought he could cross the road in front of me.......and then i hear a whistle noise it was a BOV but followed but a very loud grinding noise cuz he missed third.....i stopped after i got ahead of him and just started laughen....

Those cars can be real fast. You always gotta watch out. Everytime i see those i always think what it could have, but i havent experianced a fast one yet

I have an 88 Daytona Shelby Z as my daily driver, and I will tell you when it was running good 1 yr ago it was a decently fast car. Mine is a 88 and is also red, and looks like hell, i want it to look ugly. Mine has a S60 turbo, ported head, full 3 inch exaust and had a front mount, with a couple other goodies. Now it isn't running so good so I just use it to get back and forth from work on 15psi, use to run 20+psi. It is a fun car to drive but I am looking for a nice daily driver and get the best gas milege now. It was my prodject car, but I don't want to finish it, just want to trade it or sell it. Mine was deffinitly a low 13, high 12sec car when it was running good. later

I am only looking for about $1800 or so. It isn't much to look at due to me ripping off the stripes and peeling the clearcoat with them. I was planning on painting it black but gave up on that, so i basically looks like crap. All the recent parts I just did to it were more then 3K, so I think it is a good deal. The car has about 118K. It could use a new clutch, and throwout bearing, along with a few other things(small oil leak), but it hasn't given me problems. I need to keep it for at least one more month until I get my SRT back, but I would maybe trade for a crappy reliable DD like a neon or something. I will bring it to absolute steaks on thursday.
