what shutter speed were you using? It must've been 1/1000 or faster to stop the wheels from blurring at highway speeds. Can't tell if the cars are moving or resting.

Wow... awesome pics. I love the detail, and like the others said the fact that it looks like ALL the pics have the cars standing still. Totally awesome job!

This is the first major shoot I've had with the XTi, the overcast was crappy, and I was trying to get video at the same time...so I left the camera on semi-auto mode.

I'd rather deal with sharp pictures than blurry shots any day and personally, and I wanted to get the background clear for effect, aka Corvette picture .

You can still capture motion and maintain a sharp image when you're driving @ 70 mph. Shutter speeds of 1/250 will blur out the wheels and a small area behind the car while keeping the sky completely in focus even if you shot at a small aperture. Test out shooting in TV mode and set the shutter speed to 1/250, ISO 100 if you're not using a CP, 200 if you are using a CP.

oooh i see my car! nice pics but a slower shutter would have made things alot better...but im sure you didnt have time to really look on your LCD and notice if the wheels were still or not and adjust from there..
