I needed shift cables. I just got them yesterday afternoon.

What you see on my bed is all the parts I've had sitting here. The trans is at my buddy's house, welded pin and fully rebuilt by me in a day. We've just been waiting...WAITING...for the world to change. I mean, for me to get the parts. And I've needed shift cables forever.

Yeah, should be fun as hell. It's a direct swap, so I really don't need to "modify" anything...except the NSS. And I have to retune my MS to get it to run, but no big deal. 2 day thing. One for the trans, one for the retune. XD

I could definitely use one. It has to be from a 96-2k2 though, because the console changed in 96. The 91-95's will fit, but won't seat.

A lot less than I thought I would. I think the most expensive part was the clutch kit...about 150ish. All in all, I think I spent about 450ish.

Myself. Well, me and a buddy. He does his clutch in his saturn really fast, so since it's essentially the same process but actually pulling the entire trans out and sliding a new one in, we can get it done in a day easy. As long as I get there at a decent time and get the fluids drained out, it will be cake.

I believe it's a 95 mp2. It's the second build mp2 with the slight gear ratio change

a Saturn ?

Way impressive. Stay out of my threads if you're going to be that useless and naive.

No. I've been in touch with people trying to get a set. Jeff dropped his engine on friday, so I stole the cables off of his car. Well, he gave em to me, but still. He gave me the shift knob too. :D
