You wanna use a 20 dollar card in a 1500-2000 dollar camera.
so i take there is "performance" memory cards?
Yes, and if you read the 4 reviews nobody is using them for digital cameras.
A camera can only cycle as fast as the card can write. Just because it is 2gb, and it is a CF doesn't mean its a good deal.

Ok well these are still 45x so i don't know why you wouldn't use them for your camera. I never said they were extreme cards... they are also not 100 a piece thanks for you useful imput tho.

off topic much.
anyway. test what you want, all i know is they make good DSLR cards and they make inexpensive cf cards. it all depends on the use.

i can understand these cards not being great if you are using the multi-shot function, due to their write speed, but if you are doing single shots with time between shots how would these not perform well?

I guess if thats what your doing they would work. I can only believe what i see in magazines and online. Any CF card will hold pictures.

Well thats what a camera's is buffer for, personally i don't usually take more then 21 pictures in a row.

Do you think that memory degrades the images that come out of the camera?

what is the issue here? use the cheap ones as back up. hell i have a few regular cards that are always in my car. unless im shooting drifting or auto x i could careless about the write speed. but barry becareful, you might get some detonation and blow your camera.
