Heres a quick photoshoot of my RS, my friend's Mazdaspeed, and my other friend's Monte Carlo. The Monte Carlo just had a new motor swap.
This happened about a month ago, and it was FREEZING. I could barely hold the camera, so the pics could be better. Enjoy!!

looks good. one comment - I'd suggest framing the cars on the lower third of the frame. there's a decent amount of ground in the image, making it look unbalanced and unnatural. less ground, more sky.
Which wide angle lens are you using? Looks like a Canon 10-22 or Tokina 12-24?

SRP wins, period. I was originally not so keen on the red but the more I have it, the more I love it.

Thanks for your opinion. I get a better sense of DOF when I include ground shots. Also I didn't have a CP with me, so the sky would come a little washed out.
Its a Canon 10-22 BTW.

I like the monte in those pics. Is it the normal 350 in there? Please tell me he plans on putting a big block in there sometime haha? They have so much room in the engine bay for one.

I don't think he'll put a big block in it soon. All of us are only 17yo, so thats plenty for now.
The 350 was a crate motor that he bought, assembled, and installed himself. A few mods, none that I can remember.

When the hell did you get an RS?
And Monte SS's never came with 350's.:) Just the 305HO. Good to see he upgraded.

Ok Mike so you were right, they did come with 305s. I guess I'm just so used to the 350 swap. There is a little room for improvement with the 350 though. Work on the suspension and you can gain some and some other little things. That thing is a boat.
And it is a good thing he upgraded cuz the 305s were one of the worst engines ever, although I know a girl with an '84 camaro that has her 305 going high 11s with all motor. Pretty ****ing impressive I think.

Hah, well I got my RS around early December. Few mods later...this is where she stands. :)

As usual your photos are really impressive. I know you get it all the time, but your stuff is great in general, phenomenal for your age. Keep it up (and keep sharing with us! haha)

It's all good. I owned an AeroCoupe, and dated a girl with an 87. I do need to find an SS bodykit for my 85 LS now.
Mark, is your dad keeping the wagon?

Yeah, for now he is. I put all his performance parts onto my car, like Cobb catback, intake, Cobb SS, PIAA foglights, etc. So his car is basically back to stock.
He plans to get the '08 WRX hatchback.
Thanks sisforsurfing!
