I had all intentions to until I found out today registration is closed look a few posts above. Kind of ****ty if you ask me. I checked pinks site e-mailed and call the producer never heard back then come to find out maple grove throws the registration up there on Monday.

These kinds of events have so many no shows and people backing out at the last minute for whatever reason its not even funny. Too many people are quick to run their mouths but when it comes time to run their car its a different story. Thats what I'm banking on.

Let me know if you can. I will be on my stock motor again long story with the built motor but I should still be able to run low 11's -10's

It doesn't matter what you run. You just need to be consistent, and hope there are a bunch of other cars running the same times as you are. It's basically a stroke of luck.

If you are the fastest car, and the next fastest is .5 behind, forget about getting on TV. They don't care about who is the fastest.

They could take 16 cars between, 9.5-10.0....11.0 - 11.5....or even 12.0 - 12.5.... As long as they are all close in times and can run that consistently, that's all they care about.

It should be fun to go and watch though. If I am around, I might check it out.

Well apparently most of the cars that are going are going to be around 850s-10s. It'll be tough probably to make it if you are in the 10s. It is totally different out here on the East coast compared to the ones they've had out west.

It was pretty cool, a couple local cars had problems, but it was a nice turnout nonetheless. Highlight of the day was the Jetcars (jet-engine drag cars), the fastest one ran a 1/4 mile of 5.385 seconds...it was so loud the tower windows were flexing and bending. Awesome cars, biggest variety I've seen in a while. I saw one honda hatch and a couple srt4's, even an awd 1g talon/gsx, but they were no match for the big block cars

The coolest was when they were inching up to the line. **** was so ridiculous. I am so glad they brought them out a second time. Also another highlight was the poster with rich on it they were handing out, that made my day. It was cool when they were racing back to back to back to back with unlimited sick cars, fastest gremlins and pintos i ever saw!

There were some really bad ass cars there but the gremlin was right there. It was super sleeper I think it trapped 150+

Jet cars were amazing!! Anyone know what happens with the show since it rained?? regardless It was the most fun I've had in a long time! alot of work went into getting the GVAuto sport "valujet' there but there was an issue with the clutch and pressure plate otherwise it would have been spankin the big blocks! another highlight was the white 10 second civic hatch...glad i went here instead of HIN!

It wasn't that bad leaving. Only took me about 45 minutes total to get from my parking space to the route 176. Then it was another 5 minute drive home cause I really had to pee.:roll: :cool:
