Came here from a link on turboforum.net; I'm always looking for local car meets so this is a good way to find them in this general area.

I do mostly automotive photography; I've dabbled with weddings but it's just not my thing. I'm a Canon guy, currently using a 1D MKII, 20D, and 350D with a Canon 16-35 f/2.8L and 70-200 f/2.8L IS along with a bunch of accessories (flashes, strobes, monopods, tripods, filters, etc). Mostly stock at the moment other than a Kenwood KVC 715 DVD player. I've got a GReddy PRofec B and GReddy BOV sitting in my living room. Flyin Miata intake in transit. Downpipe and catback I'll buy in a few months once it gets warmer out. H&R adjustable coilvers mid-summer. After that, probably larger FMIC, 550cc injectors, Hydra standalone ECU. If that's not enough, I'll have to find a bigger turbo =)

No rig at the moment. I've been meaning to buy one ( like this http://www.automotiverigs.com/ ) but I'll spend the money on the car first since I just picked it up a few months ago.

I'm in the Landisville area, near Park City. I use to own a 90 300ZX years ago (7-8 years) and got rid of it for a smaller car for autocrossing. What color is your Z?

i might have to show up for that. right now my Z is suffering from some cosmetic problems as well as a miss under the hood. i'm trying to find some injectors to fix the problem. anyway, i dont want to muck up your photo thread so i'll get back to the topic..do you have any full shots of the corvette?

I'd have to agree with the other guys, I like the profile shot of the Viper the best out of the bunch. Just one question, I am assuming that the vignetting effect is from post processing (if I'm wrong I'm sorry), how did you achieve it?

Yeah, the vignetting is done in Photoshop. There are two ways to do it. When shooting in RAW in CS2, there's an option to add vignetting. You can also do it with the gradiant tool. I usually do it with the gradiant tool since I will crop my images to frame them the way I want so the vignetting is uneven when I do this.

Hey man welcome to TST. I live down in Lancaster, basically right next to Park City. I'm almost positive I saw you out auto-xing last year, and I'm sure you've seen / heard my car going through the cones. I was the only black SRT-4 to compete in the Susquehanna region last year. Looking forward to hopefully meeting you on Saturday and also out Auto-xing.


Kinda upset that the April 15th event got canceled, but it sounds like they may be able to get a make up day later in the month at Park City again.

I quit autocrossing a few years (in my 97 MX5) since it conflicted with my photography. When I'm racing, I'm in it to win for the season points. I didn't want to do a few races here and there so when I can go to the autocrosses, I'm usually there taking pictures. I think I have one shot of your car:

iirc, it was overcast that day and was raining on and off, so the lighting was pretty crappy.

yeah, bummer on the 4-15 cancellation. There are a few other events in the Philly region down at Ripken Stadium if you get the itch to race.

^ yup that's me. Your right about that day though it was very overcast and raining off and on. Luckily though the course was dry for the 4th heat, which was what I was running that day.


I'm still waiting for the Philly region to post their summer schedule. I've been down to Ripkin a few times and will be down there again for most of the events this year again also. Philly region still has all of their events up for the winter series, but I need to get new tires before I head out again.
