View Full Version : So who is running the BA2BE rally this year?

My brother and I finaly found our beater. So we are all ready to go, except for little things like plates, registration, insurance, inspection, repairs etc.

If you remember from last year, we had Fugly the Wondervan a.k.a. the party van.

Since the original crew is returning and adding the members from Team TuRD last year, my brother and possibly one more. That pushed the count up to seven or eight so the van has been upgraded to Fugly2 the Wonderbus and it should be a bigger party.

Still a tight fit so my brother and I are going to be a branch team with our car The Saab Story.

oh my god... awesome. is there a lot of video footage of all of this going on? i hope so... sounds so fun.

I have not seen many videos, mostly stills. Most of the old stuff is linked in the "BABE 2006 I Was There, and its not pretty" (http://forum.staples2naples.com/viewforum.php?f=30) thread.

The Organization of Spridget Handymen In Transit (http://forum.staples2naples.com/viewtopic.php?t=1109) page is one of the best.

Edit: So the link is broken, it is an acronym of the team name and mangled by the swear filter. So I linked to the thread where it is linked, not directly.

May 24th-27th. There is an informal meet up at the start on the 23rd in the evening. It is over the memorial day weekend, so most people have Monday off to get home.
