Just showing off my roommates 2004 GTI. Currently pretty stock, but changes are coming pretty fast.

Currently has 17,000 miles on it as well, 5spd.

Mods Done:
hyperboost HX Diverter Valve from Stratmospher
N75J "Race Valve" from ECS Tuning
GHL cold air intake
BFI stage 2 penduleum motor mount
42 Draft Designs Downpipe and Test Pipe
Unitronix Tune (needs to be reflashed)
Wastegate modified

Yea.....and something rattling:bigeek: We think that its sheilding of some sort, since we had to bang a little of it out to get the o2 sensor in place correctly.

Also, notice....NO CAT...running full 3" test pipe, and no CEL so far.

Havent had the chance to really drive it, since its the roommates. The DP makes it feel like its pulling a LOT harder through the RPMs, and seems to help the turbo spool about 500RPMs lower.

Ratteling sound is now cured. Seemed to be that we didnt tighten down the front o2 sensor enough....oops :bigeek:

the trunk needs a de-badge imo but it looks real good. tell him to throw a gt35r eliminator on it!!! haha

debadge should be done as soon as we can get some fishing line, or some sort of wire to get behind it. Blowdryer would be a PITA, since our apt has no external outlets, and our apt is on the 2nd floor.

Waiting on new a few other things to get in...will post pics of the exterior mods maybe a little later.

Its a sick HU man. Sirus or Xm ready (got Sirius), Bluetooth (which i gotta figure out), iPod control....... $420 for the unit at Best Buy

Ok, so we started a DIY for the skirts and rear lip. Lip is ALMOST ready for clear, i gotta touch a few spots up, and get it ready for the clear coat. One skirt is almost set for one more coat of paint, and the other, well the spray can started getting its own ideas, and I basically gotta sand the whole thing down, and start over, which pisses me off to no end.

Anyone else try the rattlecan idea on body parts? This stuff is designed to do so, and comes from i think Paintmatch.com, or something like that.

Keep in mind, no parts are done. I know Ive got to touch up on a bit of stuff on all the parts, and resand down that crappy skirt, and start it again. Again, I am an amature at this, and kinda learning as i go. Any suggestions to help would be MOST appreciated.

Also coming soon, K04 turbo with larger injectors and new plugs, and FMIC (which will be installed at a later date then the turbo).
New Exhaust should also be done by summers end (cat-back, since DP and test pipe are already in)

I can't believe the factory downpipe is that small of a diameter, Seeing this just makes me want to put mine on even sooner.
What kind of cat-back do you have?

stock still.... working on that. Gotta get the wastegate to work right, since its just being stuck open. You gonna be at h2o this year? sadly, this car isnt gonna go (again, since its just not running right). Taking my buddies mk3 jetta glx instead.

Havent updated this in a while... and no new pics (yet, will upload some when I get home)

Since the last update, added a 3" Turbo back from 42 Draft Designs, gives a nice little rumble to it. Also, got the rear lip finished up, and skirts will be done SOON. I know Ive been taking forever on them, just been too cold to really get it done.

Hopefully the spring, this thing gets a Unitronix Stage 2+ tune, k04, FMIC, and supporting mods. And maybe.... just maybe.... get those damn sway bars installed. Other plans also include OZ Superleggra rims in 18", and also a new suspension. Front lip will also get ordered, painted, and installed.
