I haven't posted pics in a while so I figured I'd give the masses an update. Not much has changed aside from the engine, completely new setup. I did install WRX brakes donated temporarily by Bryan Troll, my financer lol. The ghetto electrical tape eyelids are on because one light is shattered and that helps hide it.

Everything looks good except for that front end. it looks like there are spots of black on it and the cutting of the bumper wasnt very precise. If you can find another red bumper, and take your time to cut it well, its gona look badass...more-so than it does now. Good work.

We left the shop sometime arround 5am. Im not even sure how I got home, but I do remember how that lil 1.8 beast sounded . . . .Kayripes! like it was hot off the rally circuit-loud and throughty. Didnt get to hear the EWG go :-(

haha. so never hook up your boost controller when you are tired. You are bound to hook it up backwards and hit 20psi when you mean to hit 12. I got on route 22 and immediately blew off a pipe, fixed that and hooked up the internal gate since the EWG wasnt working.

But this morning I fixed the EWG and holy **** is it awesome. The cutout and ewg together brings spool up so much sooner. Its rediculous. But now I have to retune my maps because the AFR's are all off now that there is no backpressure.

So you have t-bolts and the pipes are still blowing off? I blew a i/c pipe once in my life and that's because I lost the t-clamp that went in that spot. Needless to say, I replaced it with a t-bolt right away.

wowza. just got done tuning. running, well trying to run 15psi right now. The stock internal wastegate is opening at 10 but the EWG opens at 15. so my boost bounces between both. Gona go secure the internal now and go back out for more tuning. AFR's are perfect though and I havent really touched much. The stock maf is doing pretty well up until 10psi. Above that I have to add fuel.

so im peaking at 20psi in the higher gears. hits 17-18psi in the other gears. It feels really good. I think this tune is dead on, might try and hit the track weds or thursday. :)
