do any of you guys be in wappingers falls on fridays or saturdays? There is usually a whole crap load of cars at dunkin donuts on Rt 9 in wapp. I hear that there are some meets over in middletown.

i went up there about two years ago on a thurs night. it was like march or april. there were a ton of cars there. i've driven past since then a few times, but never stopped. i don't remember any cops or anything though. i didn't go back because when i left every other kid there got in his car (anywhere from ricers to brand new gto's) and followed me south on 9 trying to race. a gto followed me all the way to walmart. i don't street race, so i figured that place wasn't my thing and never went back. i'd maybe go up there again sometime though. its not too far for me.

i was there this past friday and it was packed. so many cars and nowhere to park but in the back end....it was crazy. Cops do drive up and down but as long as you don't do anything stupid then they won't mess w/ you. Ill be back there this saturday again after the car show at the dutchess mall this saturday. I will be in it.

i don't know if anyone even still reads this thread, but if you do, i'm extending an invite to all who want to join on a nice drive. sunday oct 7, we'll be meeting sometime in the late morning at the intersection of 84 and 9d to drive 9d south to the bear mountain bridge, then across to the park where there is an octoberfest. i'll post up the time and exact place before saturday. should be a nice scenic drive, and lots of fun to boot. as of now it's just me and another srt (maybe 3 or 4 more) and a subaru legacy gt turbo (possibly a wrx tr and a sti or 2).

There is a nice red civic, (can't believe I said that) that I see in guilderland a lot. It was for sale, last I knew though so I don't know if it's still around. There is a nice cobra around some where, a lambo here, ferarri there. My brother drives a nismo 350 but he lives in clifton park.

Albany kind of sucks for nice cars. There are a lot of older muscle cars, hardly any tuners.
