I don't wanna race and then have to deal with pages of crap like 'yeah I was totally pulling on the other guy but I was spinning bad' or something, no matter if it's from me or 1988Olds.

Yeah lately I've just been taking whatever hrs I can since people are getting fired and stuff. This is another reason I like street racing. Could be over and done in 10 minutes. At least your making it worth my wild to come to the track for 20 bucks.

I didn't want to step in b/c this is between whoever but I feel a lot of you guys need to lay off. I can understand shaming on Tim for street racing or encouraging it, and I can see you guys bashing on his car, BUT if he won these races fair and square then that gives him bragging rights. So what, the cars he races are sub 15 second cars...they are the cars that are stepping up to race him. If a lot of you guys are getting pissy, upset, whatever towards Tim for beating up on these other guys then step up and challenge him (at ATCO hopefully), stop coming on here and talking trash to him because he so happens to win.

Seriously, if I were beating members on the board that are 15-16 second cars I would be bragging too. Why? Tim has a decent car...and it's not the fastest thing out here but he has probably put as much, if not more blood, sweat, and money into his car then most of us. Just remember there will always be someone faster then you and always something working harder to make their car that way.

It's all in good fun, I didn't get upset with anyone. And after seeing the car run tonight, I do want a rematch once I find out what is wrong. I knew the car felt slow, but running three-quarters of a second off my pace was not in the plans. That's all I have for rice excuses now, I know I'll lose next time too, but not as badly ;)

I know its all in fun and all but come on lets be realistic. Not too many of us should really even be trying with him. And him flaunting who he beat on the board is just childish. First of all it's not a Healty Small Block Chevy so lets start over. It's an Oldsmobile 355. I didn't want to put a Chevy motor in the car. It's a long story but anyway. Blaise was the one who wanted to race me. Like I said before I will race any car no matter how fast. I do not care win or lose. I didn't spend countless hrs working and building it to have it sit around and collect dust. I may be wrong but I think so of the people wanting to race me don't drive their car everyday. I mean if I wanted to have a trailer queen it could easily be a mid-low 12 second car without to much work. Some people on the website take stuff to far. I am in Levittown.

I race my friends GTO all the time and get beat by a couple car lengths, but it doesn't bother me, its still fun.

I can't get any races around here. The only races I get are slow cars with big fart cans that think they are fast. For instance, today a grand am gt with a fart can and a huge aluminum wing tried to race me, and a beat up old s10 with a wooden flat-bed on the back. :rolleyes:
