Shooting Sports?

Hey guys, I just wanted to get some input about the best setup for shooting sports. Mainly what lense to use and a few settings. I'll be shooting State Cup games this weekend back home with the D70s and I need a few pointers so any and all help will be appreciated. thanks a lot.

i'll be in lancaster shooting state cup soccer, jus for fun however. but if i get some good shots i might send some to my high school where i played and my brother currently plays.

Find a good shutter speed that works well with the lighting. You can use "sport" mode but a perfect shutter speed looks 100 times better.

No problem. Mess around with it before actually shooting. Also different lighting = different ISO, especially when messing with shutter speeds.
