this is old news. the technology came out a few years ago. it really isnt practical.

That setup is sick and I can't belive how the driver stayed still driving over the bumps where as, when a normal(regular suspension) car drove over it the driver bounced around. Pure GENIUS!

LoL that's really cool.

Anyone notice they used a Lexus as the REAL model...but the 3D render was that of a newer Mercedes?

ok, how the hell do you watch it? I've tried to open the link in 3 browsers, and none of them play a video. There's no links...wtf mate?

*edit*
Finally worked on the 6th try. Neat ****. Since I can't understand that horrid language, how the hell did it do that? And it looked like he turned it off in the turns before that or something and increased the roll or something. WTF mang?

Basically it works like a linear motor on each wheel. (also like a speaker too hense Bose). This isn't really the critical part (they've been around for while), it's knowing when to move the wheel and regulating the force through the magnets to dampen the motion. It takes extreme control logic and quite an array of sensors to get it to behave like that. This is where the true engineering is.

I would imagine that they aren't quite ready to handle the demands of racing yet. I do like the possibilities of the positive roll into the turns though. I would like to see what is can pull g-wise compared to a traditional strut system. Leaning into the turns really insures that you have maximum contact patches with your tires.

New Audi TT's have these in production, though, not as extensive in implementation.
