Colonial quoted me $600 for the scheduled 60k service! I said F that, A&H motorsports in Ivyland will do it for $400.

I normally go to the dealer for stuff here and there (inspections & scheduled maintanance) so they remember me so warranty work is a breeze... but F that noise...

I needed to rant a little...

my dealerships 60k is $430 but that is the price you pay for dealership, if you can do stuff yourself you could most likely do it yourself for like $200 in fluids and parts

I have an extended warranty up to 100k

Service includes **** like plugs (platinum), diff fluids, brake fluids, etc... A&H's price is more reasonable... and the previous service schedules at the dealer were reasonable too... oh well...

the price we pay for loving our cars and not driving a toyota yaris ;)

Regardless of warranty status, there's no requirement that you get ANY maintenance done at the dealership...you just have to maintain your vehicle per the manufacturer's recommendations.

You'll likely notice, too, that many of the items on the dealer's 60k list AREN'T in the owner's manual and aren't recommended by the manufacturer - things like transmission flushes, fuel injection services, engine oil flushes (VERY BAD..)

They're great... Evan who owns the shop is very personable and runs a clean shop. Everyone that I know who's taken their car there are happy... from the experience i've had with A&H I can vouch for them.
