I remember wanting to look into the RDX more after seeing the new commercials for it on tv. Acura rated it at 240hp @6000 RPM with 260 lbs-ft @ 4500 RPM. Here's a link for more details on the RDX http://www.acura.com/index.aspx?initPath=RDX I like it.

Thats actually a pretty cool car - I saw it was turbo on a commercial but I never really took the time out to research it. Thats pretty good power.

go drive both of them, and then come back and tell me its just a crv wwith a turbo......lots of differences between the two, i would get if it came in 6 speed, lol. the crv has 100% different motor than the rdx the only thing they share is the "k" designation.....

rdx's are nice but theres no way that the car feels like it has 215whp when u drive it it feels like a mid 15sec car but thats not too bad. I personally love them and if they came in stick id love to drive one.

From the research I've done, it cannot be done. I know that the bellhousing pattern is specific to this car, making any type of trans adaptation impossible.

so what your saying is that you couldnt take this motor and slap a RSX 6spd trany on it and dump it into an EG or EK better yet a DC2 haha?

ketchup!

My mom's buying a new suv and i keep trying to talk her into getting this. But they have almost no real towing power, which my mom will want, and too add to it my step dad is anti-foreign.
So she's looking at the ford edge ... which runs a 14.7 with a v6. Its got more hp, but less torque. idk i guess you cant expect too much performance out of a 4cyl suv even if it is turboed cause it's still a heavy ass suv?

You'd be even more sorry to hear that we have... 8 vehicles at my house. A talon, harley, and 6 other fords :(... so it's easy to predict what kind of car shes going to trade the explorer in for.
