I don't love the whites being blown out/highlights on the first picture... but without that you'd probably have no definition in his face.
Like #2 a lot, and the tone in #3. What are the alienskin filters? Sorry for my ignorance. They're not like a quadtone setting, right?

I assume they are a photoshop filter and i really like their affect post the orignals.

hmm.
It's definitely very cool, but I'm not sure how I feel. The Kodachrome and Cross Processing filters are very my style, and I'll probably use them now. They offer things about film I love but are hard to replicate with digital :)

I don't like the push-processing and grainy filters that much. Grain is cool sometimes, but when I shoot dark situations with film I have to push process in order to get the exposure, compromising the quality. I don't like the grain in that situation.

Really interesting though, I'll definitely use some. And to stay on topic, I still really like picture #2, heh
