its pretty freaking realistic!

In case you guys have surplus money to blow, its a Logitech G25 setup and the sims are GTR2 (screen shot), rFactor, RACE WTCC, and Live for Speed.

Yeah it's hard to leave it alone - the pedals are pneumatic - the gas is light, the clutch is medium, and the brake is heavy, its awesome. The steering wheel is stainless steel with real leather and the shifter can be set up for sequential for H pattern (I use mostly H) - also had paddles for the queer italian cars.

Like buying your girlfriends daughter a car? :-p

I have it too because my friend told me how totally awesome it was, it's still sitting in my closet though since I'm not much of a gamer.

Mm hmm.

Jon, I am jealous. I love some of those games but you just can't play it on keyboard/mouse.

lol. I was just being harsh to that guy cause he is a dick.

I am not a gamer myself so I don't see that point of it. I would rather drive a $40K car in real life than drive any car in a game

Markley02 - bitter much?

To the rest - the wheel is $300 for those who asked. I ordered it like a week after xmas on a wednesday afternoon around 4pm and it came thursday morning at 11am from amazon. The nice thing is that GTR2, the game I play the most (until I finish my championship then I am on to Race WTCC or rFactor...) is only $19. I think there is a package G25 + GTR2 on Amazon but I am not positive.

The wheel lock is programmable from stupid low (Not sure how little) to 900 degrees rotation. There is some sort of damper that engages and thus there is a dynamic steering wheel lock that you can pick!

Yeah the brakes got real hot - I was doing a brake stand in teh viper and blew the rear tires out and nearly set the brakes on fire.

Not at all - its actually the opposite, Its annoying to have to undo the clamps to move it out of the way. You wouldn't have to worry about that at all. The pedals I was worried about too, but they have a 8" long strip of spikes that come out the bottom. Its crazy.

ok, so heres a question. does gt4 support the h gate of the shifter? i mean can you skip from 1-4 and so forth?
