I might be buying a car in delaware, and i live in PA. I was wondering if it was legal to just drive it home without PA inspection or insurance. I'm trying to avoid having to get a flat bed.

Is this a new car purchase from a dealer or a used car purchase from a private seller? If it's new, the dealer will be able to take care of most of the details, but you would need to contact your insurance to set up coverage before driving the car. If it's a used car, try calling a tag place in PA and asking what you need to do in order to get a temp tag. You also need to arrange for insurance coverage before driving it, but it's quick and painless to add a car to an existing policy. Your best bet would be to call your current insurance provider, let them know the situation, and ask them what you need to do so that it's legal to drive the car after purchase.
For the record, it's never legal to drive without insurance. If a car is purchased in another state, you can drive it without PA inspection for a period of time, but the safest approach is to get it inspected when you get it registered in PA. Legally, the car must be inspected within 10 days of the registration date.
