Anyone have some good experience with any local shops? I'm looking to just have the car resprayed the same color some time in July possibly for cheap or if the price is right, painted black.

Honestly if you're just looking to get it repainted the same color and want it cheap, might as well take it to Maaco (don't flame me, please  ). If you plan on painting it black, I would suggest having someone photoshop it for you first. Otherwise, you might be unhappy with having the white wheels on the car.

im thinking maaco for just a respray. but will they do any body work for me or should i do that myself? i have some dings and dents, some minor double sided tape ima gunna remove, 2 small rust spots, and some window trip that is now bare metal from the stripping being peeled off.

as for the white rims my old escort is the exact same (minus the motor) and it was black with white rims. thats why i got em to begin with. i had some white exterior pieces on the black car with white rims. if i keep the grey i wanna repaint the rims with bonehead.

Yea, I'm thinkin about powdercoating my rims. If I do, I'm taking them to Bonehead. They did SilverBulletRL's factory rims and they look good.

The Maaco in Trenton NJ near me is really good.. There prices are good and there quality of body/paint work I have to say isn't that bad. I have to say out of all the Maaco's i have seen/been too, this one is good.

Here are some pictures of my beater after I got it painted at Maaco in NJ
