anyone willing to do a headswap for me on my 91 eagle talon tsi 2.0L? I don't have the time to do it right now, but I need the car running because right now my wife and I are sharing her car and it's becoming a hassle.

Do you have all the gaskets/studs/fluids ready to go I am on McGuire also and we have everything needed in the shop. PM me.
EDIT: If you have everything it will take a day. ALSO, why a headswap is it cracked and has the new head been checked for cracks and warping, if not have it checked before you put in.

I have everything ready to go. I'm using all the old studs and gaskets and maybe fluids.....everything has 0 miles on them. The old head has bent valves.

Same head gasket and bolts is a bad idea man. I would buy this stuff. So the head is remanufactured?
Edit: What has 0 miles on it?

I guess this is the white one sitting at the hobby shop? I would help, but they got me on night shift and I can't get **** done in the day because I'm sleeping.
Hopefully you can get your car running soon. Good luck..

If you have them do it make sure its the bigger black guy that does part time work over there, can't think of his name right now for some reason. I don't think he's an employee there just does alot of jobs there.
Don't worry I work the night shift also and I drive by every once in a while to check on a couple of cars there.

that's too far for me for 400 bucks. by the time i get everything(trailor, truck, gas, etc.) it would equal to the same amount i can have the shop do it for. i was hoping to save some cash.
anyone else closer that can help a brother in need?
