some asshole swiped my bumper parking

i'm sure anyone that lives were you have to parallel park knows what i'm talking about. i got to "the dump" and noticed 2 huge black streaks on my bumper, on sale was at the meet and buffed them out for me ( thanks a ton! ) when i got home i checked the cars around my street and found the dickhead that did it, he swapped paint with me and didn't bother buffing if off, the streaks measure up perfectly so i'm 100% sure it was him. i'm not sure whos car it is so i don't know how to go about confronting them about it but i want to make sure they get the idea to be more careful next time. should i leave them a letter on their car or call the police and report it?

Personally I would call the police. Its a hit and run. Its bull**** that someone can hit your car and leave damage ( even minor ) and try to run and hide. You already fixed your car so I dont know how well its going to go, maybe your paint being on their car will be good enough proof. If they dont beleive you, they can test the red paint on the black car and prove its off your car. GL

it really pisses me off. only a little tiny scratch is left but it's still enough to make me upset that someone would do that and ignore it. it was definitly not something they didn't realize they did because the marks on both cars were pretty bad, the black car still looks like ****

When someone hit my M3 the cops wouldn't even write a police report because "it was under $500 in damages". $2300 is how much money it was to get fixed. He no longer has a job.

well I took some pictures of the guys car and went to my security office, they wont tell me who it was but they said they would "look into it" when i got home i looked around their car, they have a baby seat and some ugly wigger clothes in the back seat so i'm pretty sure it's the people below me.
