Here are a couple of pics I took with my new D50. Let me know what you think. Be nice...it's my first time.:roll:

i like it, the 2nd one might be over exposed. whats the exif on both?

i like the first one, but i think your iso 1600 was too high unless u were goin for the grainy look. either way nice pics

2nd one seems a bit over exposed.

top one looks like it was photshoped to add the contrast?

If you are going for that look then they are cool. It has that "old" feeling like those pictures you see from the Wild wild west days.

The first one reminds me of like a stage-shot from an old Western movie or something.

Is that the on-camera B+W?? I STILL havent touched any of the other color modes yet.

Def good subject matter, and a good choice to get that old west feel. I'd have to agree about the more contrast...that would really make the detail stand out. Good job though:thumbup:

EXIF stands for Exchangeable Image File Format, and is a standard for storing interchange information in image files, especially those using JPEG compression.
