*These pics are not profesional. I just got bored this morning and shot a few*
In the beginning of July in 2005, I was a couple weeks from turning 16. It was apparent I was going to need a car because my parents did not want me driving there cars. I had some limitations. First had to be fwd or awd due to the fact it would be a daily driver and it snows frequently in the winter in PA. Second, it had to be automatic so everyone in my family could drive it mainly my mom. Third, the price range around $20,000. I looked at a lot and decided that I loved the look of the Mazda 6.

I pretty much had control of what I wanted in the car as long as I helped pay for it. I decided to get a Silver Mazda 6 4cyl, for insurance reasons. I also got the 6 year fully extended warranty which proved to be a modding factor throughout. I got the sport kit and the upgraded sunroof and Bose package. Now for my first mod and each mod was a constant challenge with the parents. I am an idiot with directions and badly needed navigation. I went to tweeter and luckily there was a metra kit coming out that would make the Mazda 6 have a single din opening. So I ended up getting the metra kit, Pioneer Avic N2, rear view camera, ipod integration and the pioneer steering wheel adapter so I didn’t lose my radio controls on the wheel.

The next thing I wanted was tint. I loved the look of a tinted car. After numerous talks with the parents they allowed me to get 40%. Not as dark as I would have gone but I have grown to like it a lot. Especially with the cops around me being dickheads as they are currently being.

I then wanted to upgrade my stock bass. I loved the sound of a bass. So back to tweeter I went where I bought a JL 12” ported sub and class d monoblock amp. I love the sound of a subwoofer, couldn't be happier.

A few months later I wanted a remote start and an upgraded alarm. Due to the fact in one year I will be parking all over the city and the viper 791xv controller is awesome. So saving up for some time I purchased the viper 791xv and purchased the remote start. But after two weeks the stupid controller broke so the screen doesn’t fully function but the remote does. I am still waiting to buy a new one. After driving the car for a while I wanted a little bit more peppiness in the car and some aggressive sound. So after much debate from cai and sri, my parents decided sri due to the fact of hydro locking and warranty voids that could occur. Ordered the AEM sri and have loved it since. Also put on the AEM license plate too and a piece of dynomat behind the plate.

I hated the stock two foot antenna so purchased off a tst member I bought the S2000 shorty antenna. Makes the car look a lot better and it was the best cheap mod I have done.

This is my latest mod on the car. I decided the factory exhaust is too silent for my taste. Some may call it a ricer exhaust but it’s the sound I am looking for and it’s my car. So I bought the Tanabe Concept G Medallion. Also upgraded the stock exhaust hangers and purchased the Kartboy’s. I’m happy with the sound and it is a little ricey but that’s ok with me.

As for future mods, there are not a lot of big projects for me to do. I have decided to wait 4 more years for the warranty to be up if I am going to turbo it. Who knows what the car will be like in four years I could always end up selling it. In the meantime I figure eyelids for the headlights and a drop that is desperately needed. I had the tst window vinyl but i put it on crooked on both sides, so i need to meet up with troll and do that again.
Also could someone do the photoshop where its like a see through hood for me.

The exhaust didn't end up looking too bad. It looked a lot bigger in the videos you sent me. Is it really loud? Nice car.

Had a mazda6 that looked just like yours when I first got here to this forum. Only mine was V6 manual. Also should have gone magnaflows they would of sounded better on a 4 cyl anyway (stock headers more restrictive on 6 cyl)

The 4 speed "sport shift" tranny is pretty baller huh? I really enjoy pretending to drive manual with mine as I crawl through it's four mammoth sized gears! :driving:
Silver Mazdas rock!

nice car man. and you realize that the remote for your 791 should still be under warranty... they have a one year warranty and as long as the place you got it from isnt a bunch of d0uchebags you should be able to get it replaced

My friend has a the same car, only blue with the 6 cyl. Her stock system is pretty badass, so that plus a sub must really kick.
