I was reading on Nasioc about MBC with AP and the only thing it was warning me about is partial throttle full boost. My car has almost always done this prior to the AP. I am running the off the shelf stage 2 93 octane map with my MBC set still at 17-18 psi and it runs great. Just wondering what to look out for.

That's alot of boost for a stock turbo Keith, normally kids run 16-16.5 psi.

I ran 18psi on my vf34. lol

I hear that enough, i may run up to 18 psi but not on a daily basis and not always on that kind of throttle. so in my defense its just my extra power.

16.5 psi is what the cobb map is set for. I bet you have other mods that will lean out the mix too like bigger tmic, hoses ect ? i would be careful leaning it out more . I probably should take my own advise and get a tune too. lol.

The MBC with the AP should be no different than the MBC on a stock ecu. I strongly recommend against both, but I think you've heard that plenty and its your car, so do what makes you happy... The AP does have boost control built into the tuning though, which really should be enough.

I turned the boost to 17 so thats .5 over cobb and im really just using it to spool thats all, I kinda dont have a choice because the JDM TMIC wont allow me to use the stock vac lines anyway.

Just don't bring it up that high if you think it's an issue.

Well in reality 7500 is only 300 rmps more then you should be able to go so i don't think you would have a problem buttt i wouldn't do it that much.

wideband, wideband, wideband. why guess when you can know what the car is doing? throw in an afpr as well so you can fine tune things

Watch those EGT temps too... running lean too lean is a great way to fry pistons...
