ok i'm in limp mode and my codes are strictly selonoid related
41 Open-Circuited shift control solenoid valve A
43 Open-Circuited shift control solenoid valve B
84 Open or Short-circuited Shift Control Solenoid valve B
83 Open or Short-circuited Shift Control Solenoid valve A
in that order. I've tried
1 resetting the TCU
2 cleaning all connections with electrical cleaner
3 checking grounds.
nothing i have done so far has worked i'm gonna take a look for any fusable links that might have blown you guys have ideas?

Pull the pan back off and take a look at the solenoid wiring again, maybe it got pinched when you put the valve body back in. Too much of a coincidence to have both solenoids throw a code. And usually when the tcu fries it wont output any codes. Did you reset the tcu yet?

yeah i reset it still nothing i've done it twice now. i checked the wiring on the plugs cause alot of the harnesses under the hood are very brittle but they all are in good shape guess im droppin the pan next to check those.

well i pulled the pan and everything is good. nothing is cut, crimped, or funny looking. well other then the rig job that a previous owner did the was fixed by a trans shop. and like i said it ran correctly since then. both seloniods have a single wire running to them one has yellow other has orange. i would assume the ground out into the valve body and then come out through the ground that runs from the case to the chassis. this sounds right? anyway let me know guys i wanna get this thing out there soon.

ok i pulled the tcu tonight so far and opened it up nothing it corroded or leaking. also i tried turning the key to the on position and putting the car in first then i went and checked all three prongs in the connector for the seloniods. none gave out any power but i'm not sure if it should. does the motor have to be running for it to work? and is it a steady signal through those lines or just a pulse at the right rpm/throttle position.
i can't think of anything else to check except trying a different TCU...anybody got a spare?
