My volvo s60R (Now its time to start fabbing up the intake)

at the moment the car is bone stock but over the next couple of weeks she whould be transforming :cool:

at the moment:
2.5 liter turbo, Dual intercoolers
300 hp
295 ft-lbs
Allwheel drive
brembo 4 piston brakes front and rear
18" wheel
adjustable strut dampners
H.I.D (stock)
2.5 inch downpipe
dual 2.5 inch exaust pipes

o0o yeah and i got the pumkin leather which is rare for the car (i got lucky on tht one)

It's not bad, I like the gauge cluster a lot more than the M3 however I did find it a little hard to find 5th gear.

the car was a bitch to drive when i first got it but once u get used to the shift pattern is when u realize what the car is capable of

mods i plan having the evolve performance package (ecm, 3.5inch down pipe,3 inch test pipe) by like march. the car is at stillman volvo getting the stronger trans imstaled, then i plan to dot he air management system and lowring spring for x-mas

im seding the stock rims out for powder coating (black) and im have all the plastic peices and the headlight insert painted to match the car and when i got back to volvo im gonna see how much the volvo valance kit is

Did you have a problem with your stock trans? What car is the stronger transmission from?

I like your car. I see an S60R almost every day on my way to PSU delco. It has darker wheels, so I would say that would work for you.

the R has issues with there half shaft grinding to peices so0o they solved the problem in the later model R's mine is only a 04'. the 06' has the stronger trans which is said to be able to hold around 600 horse but that from a mechanic at stillman i havent read anything about tht yet

I would plan on doing something about the heat soak.... my buddy has a v70R with a turbo back and chip, it has the worst heatsoak i have ever felt. I love the color combo by the way. Best of luck with the car.

dude i was clueless about what u were talking about when u said u had trouble getting into fifth gear but now i know what ur talking about!!! u droive either an 05' or 06' cause i got the trans from the 06' and drove him from picking my car up today and couldnt find fifth gear if my life depended on it, i just kept skipping 5th gear thinking the tranny linkage was ****ed up till i found the invisable 5th gear!!!! this is gonna take some time to get used to....................... but other than tht i finally got my car back

well the slave cylinder finally went on the R, and for those who are familiar with the car most jobs mean you gotta pull the motor and trans to get access the anything!!! i should have her back on the road in a few days

Im aiming to have pics up tonight, but what were going for is a 3" no mufflers or resinators 2 bends into dual side by side 3" pipes to semi match what was already there but instead of the angle cut tht came stock with gonna cut them straight and stagger em to have that m3 appeal

EWWW!!! Stillman Volvo....:bigeek: NO WONDER you have no money, that place is a big money pit.. i swear their toilet paper consists of 5 dollar bills.. anyway Volvos are sexy.. and classy hopefully i'll get mine all modded up :mrgreen::mrgreen::cool:
