Just put a UTEC back in my car, wondering who the other UTEC users are out there. I've been out of the loop since 4.2c and there is a lot of new stuff added with the 5.8b update (for Subarus).
So Subaru guys and others too, who's pretty confident with their UTEC knowledge? I'd like to get some convo going to refresh myself and learn more about whats new and how to go about adjusting it.

its a reflash and a very advanced piggyback... there's a hydra (one of the top standalones for my car, and almost $2000) on nasioc priced at $850 and its reallllllly tempting and i just want it to sell already so i dont have the option of buying it any more though.

I know the new utec the "delta" has SD.......can you use SD with a utec loaded w/ with the newest sofeware?

yeah the older utecs have the same features as the newer delta when you upgrade them to the newest firmware which is 5.8b. i havent messed with speed density yet because i dont understand it yet, but i plan to in the near future.

i'am a pretty sure theres a write up about it on nasioc.....you should check that out.

When i get my sti the utec is def going in. You can get used sti ones for 450-500 and the only downside i can find is that you cant tune avacs with it. Open ecu+utec= the best em for a sti, for super cheap.
