White Balance Basics

I have always just used the preset 'daylight' 'tungsten', or 'flourescene' white balances on my cameras, but I haven't been happy with the results of this with my D200.
I just found this slideshow... itsvery comprehensive and thought it might be helpful to some...

Thanks!! My knowledge was really limited when it came to white balance issues, this is a good read.

Looks like the D70 has some serious white balance issues; it's all over the place. Expodisks are a little pricey on Amazon... time to invest in a piece of 18% gray paper!
