I just received a letter in the mail from phila. traffic court as unbeleivable as it sounds i was comming home from a party in south philly and was heading down essington ave. on my way home and noticed a cop tailing me so i made a quick right to see if he was realy following me and as i made the right so did the cop so then i proceeded to just pull over on holstien ave thats is when the cop threw on his lights and pulled up behind me. I have around 35% tint so i figured that was the reason for being pulled over, everything seemed ruetine they asked for my information. The cop returned several minutes later saying tht his partner was writing my ticket and would walk it up to me in a couple seconds, i then proceeded to put my license back in my wallet still thinking i was getting a ticket for tint i then hear the cop pull off and they seemed to be smiling when the drove past so i tohught they were just bustin my balls............. That brings me to decmeber 12th (last night) i received a notice from phila. traffic court stating "notice of impending suspension of driving privileges" and the volations were Race highway 1s, Reckless driving, yield emergency, and fail to use seatbelt. now the citation also says that this is the second notice and all fines have been brought up another $25. The problem is that i never recieved a ticket on the spot or signed a citation
i am absoulutly confused and i have heard from many ppl tht if i never signed a citation that i should get off with the charges

Any help is good help i just dont wanna loose my car or license

With that list of citations, your best bet would be to talk to a lawyer. Be honest and tell him the whole story. Most of the time it's beneficial to have an experienced representative speak on your behalf...it can make all the difference in the world. If you are convicted of either racing or reckless driving, it's an automatic 6-month suspension in PA.

And no, you are not required to sign the ticket.
