ok so randomly last night... my car alarm started going off in my driveway... so i quick run out there with a baseball bat to check it out ... by the time i get out there its shut off already... so no ones there and i decided to see if i can figure out why the alarm went off... so i start shaking the car... and i decide to push a bit harder... well my dumb ass pushed so hard that i pushed the damn drivers side fender in... how hard is it to pull the fender off to try and get the dent out? im probably going to try a dent puller first but if need be ill pull the fender off...

That sucks man. Maybe a rubber mallet might work. But I guess the dent puller idea might be better. Yeah, i had a friend who didn't close the passenger door all the way on my last car, so he tried to "booty bump" it closed all the way. Same thing happened. I'm sure the dent will come out easily though. GL

My friend did that with her arse on the Zed a year or so ago. Ironic, but heartbreaking.

That sucks, if you didn't make any sharp creases or over any hard body lines you should be able to pop it out and not have a problem...if there is a crease then you will probably need a professional to take look at it, wosre case look up paintless dent removal, most places will do it for like $50 a panel

haha... i bought a cheapo rubber suction cup from pep boys to use.. but of course the lines of the body dont allow for any suction with the size (roughly 4 " diameter) so the dent is still there... and yes it caused a creas on top of the fender... i want to get the entire car repainted a custom color come spring time/summer so im not worried about that.. i just want the dent gone... so ill probably pull the fender off this weekend and do it.

also depends on the paint, how much materials need to be used, how much prep work would be involved, etc., etc.

If it is creased you will most likely see it even after a paintless dent removal job. Consult a professional they are fairly cheap.

Jon- Theres a paintless remover on Business 30. Get off at Frazier, make a right (or just go down 30 from Exton) and the business is on your left. You'll usually see Porsches, Mercedes', etc. It's one of the best, if not the best in the area, and their rates are great. I went there with the Zed after I bought it because of a few silly dents, and it came out very, very well.

How much would they charge to just pop out a dent in a fender...? It is the size of a fist but it is really shallow, it just needs to get popped. No bent or creased metal or anything... It's just kind popped in.

It all depends on the angle and such. Go for a quote, free of course, and then you get scheduled. Usually takes 2-3 days, but trust me, the fact that Porsche and Benz dealers send their cars there...well..that should say enough. And I believe Westtown Imports does as well.

So are you keeping the car and getting it painted? I want to see how it turns out. You should throw some kind of flake into the color to make it really sick. Don't know if the color already has some flake in it (couldn't tell from the pics) but it would look awesome.

Looks like pulling the inner fender well and pusshing it out made a huge difference, looks much better IMO.

I would be willing to bet a dentless guy could clean it up even more, possibly to the point that you can't even tell there was once a dent there anymore. But maybe I am wrong, I'm just judging by your pics, which is sometimes hard.
