When I posted Weather.com was calling for Iso-T-storms in the Cape May area.

I still will be canceling this, due to poor planning on my part.

I would like to have a list for the run up for a month, so I'll think of a new date for August and will have all of July to get this properly planned.

No one interested??

Or is it too "thrown together" to get any decent response.

I just took the backway down yesterday for a quick day trip to Wildwood.
But anways here is the names of the roads we are taking.

-Starting out at Fuddruckers, we will go onto Tuckahoe Rd.

-Tuckahoe Rd. will run out at stop sign.
Making a right at the stop sign and stopping at the traffic light.

-At the traffic light, we will make a left onto 50. ( we will be on this road for sometime.)

-50 will come to an end at a stop sign.

-At the stop sign we will make a right onto Route 9, We will be on Route 9 for a while.

- At about Avalon we will decide whether to take the Parkway the rest of the way to Cape May or continue on Route 9 til Cape May.

I have yet to get a definate finish point, but if you have ideas just say soemthing.

I can help quite a bit here. I really don't like the Rt. 9 idea. Too much traffic and too many lights. There are more scenic back routes where people won't have a problem sticking together. Also, whats the destination in Cape May?

How many cars do you figure are going? I'm brainstorming on what a bunch of car guys could do down here but it kind of depends on the size of the crowd.

On a side note: It would be super-sweet if you could get the participants to pay a Ferry Fee. It would then make a round trip, no backtracking. You drive down, hop on the ferry, meet everybody on the boat, talk for 70 minutes, then make the drive back. I wonder if you could set up a deal with the ferry.

I'm expecting somewhere around 10, but these are the people who said they are interested.

But there are some people who might just show up.

Also, many people seem to want to take the parkway instead of Tuckahoe/Route9.

So if you coming add your name to the list, what car you'll be driving, include how many people will be with you (including yourself ), and state the way you would rather go.

ex. xEJ20x/George/2002 WRX sedan/2/Tuckahoe-Route9 or Expressway
