matt did my rb25 swap (9+ months w/o a single problem) and is currently working on my girl's car as well
you'd be foolish to have anybody else do your swap

SR20s don't use distributors, you do not want a CUT harness, if the things you listed are posted by the seller of the SR20 I wouldn't recommend buying it from them. Usually a "good" priced SR motor is a ****TY SR motor.
Do research on good engine importers. SR20Store (Marco), Heavy Throttle (Jeff), etc.
Other parts you will want to consider:
- FMIC
- Fuel pump
- Boost controller
- New engine mounts
- Sparkplugs
- New oil pan (if the stock one is dented)
- Thermostat
- New clutch/flywheel (easier to install with engine out of car)
I could list many more things you'd want to upgrade to "Do-it-right the first time". I'm just sick of posts on other forums with people bitching about SR motors crapping out, ****ty swaps, etc.
Call Matt, and be ready to spend money=you'll be happy in the long run
talk to jtunedmotorsports, he works on 240's every day.

why would u pay someone to swap it? send the harness out to get it wired for a couple hundred bucks and swap it yourself. u can do it on any flat ground with a jack and hand tools. if you dont know anything about working on cars i wouldnt be looking to get a motor swap done.

That is why there are businesses to cater to this type of market.

A bit off topic, but does Matt @ Import Intel sell complete cars (already swapped in motor, trans, etc) for those of use mechanically challegend?
Id be interested in knowing what a nice 240/sr20det swapped car would sell for ready to drive???
Ok, back on topic..... :)

No offense to any shop owners but DO IT YOURSELF. I did my swap in three days, BY MYSELF, in 93 degree heat. Send the harness out if you don't like wiring ($100). If you do it yourself it will save you money not only now but in the long run. There are plenty of people on 240 boards, including myself that would help you free of charge.
By doing it yourself you learn how your car works and makes trouble shooting in the future so much easier. It forces you to reasearch and learn from other people that did it before you. You also know that its done right. Not that anyone else wont do it right, but you can be 100% sure.
But if you dont like to get your hands dirty I have heard of Matts rep before I even owned a S, but if you are in Philly, the best place to go is 5star. They have the most swaps performed within the city limits to my knowlege. GET TO IT!

Come to think of it doing my engine swap was easier that doing my turbo upgrade. Except the wiring. If you are doing anything cross generation ie: S13blacktop into S14, SEND THE WIRING OUT. 5 Star has a wiring service if you dont want to wait a week to get it back. B is very good at tucking wires so you cant see them. Give them a call.
