Maybe it was just one of those flukes. Sometimes the car just feels slower, even if it's not.

Yeah warmer weather will do that to ya. Atleast I don't have to worry about spikeing as much with the warmer weather. Holds boost much better now.

yeah, you have to keep retuning for cold air. i hate it.

Warmer air is less dense. When its real humid out my car wont hold boost to redline like it usually does, it usually tapers to 2/3 psi lower.

I just had to modify my fuel maps a little bit. Subtracted fuel across the board.

I notice mine runs alot better when the car is arounv 160-165 so I guess the warmer air does slow it down some.

Anything hotter than that for your car Tim is bad anyway...gotta love them 160 degree thermostats...

I need to do the same, but I need to get a bung welded on my new exhaust that I just put on.

Well maybe not pull fuel across the board but atleast do a decent street tune with the warmer weather.

I don't think it feels slower in the summer, just faster in the winter.....turbos like cold

It may have just been us, but i used to have a gsx and my bf a gsr, whenever we raced in cold temps i won, and it warmers temps he won. its kinda odd.

I don't have to retune my car for weather, the ECU is smart enough to take the commanded AFR @ Idle & WOT and make it so no matter what the intake temp is (within reason, 20*F->100*F) it'll hit that AFR.

Being an SCT Pro-Racer :supz: best tuning package ev4r.

Any car will run slower in the warmer weather pretty much. EArlier this year went to the track with my car I guess in early April and ran 14.49-14.55 all day and then I go out a month later and its running 14.70s so you obviously can tell the warmer air slows the car down.
