remote starter question

my starter is on its way out and needs to be replaced. now my car is equiped with an automatic starter, and since i will be putting the starter in myself, i was wondering if there is any extra wires or anything going to the starter that i should worry about when changing it. any info would be awesome, thanks.

Take good notes on what you are un-plugging and then when installing the new one, make sure you hook it up (wire it) the same.

Shouldn't be any extra wires. If it is an aftermarket remote starter it should be wired in near the steering wheel
