Sick car. Drove one, it seems really big tho when you drive one. I guess Im just used to smaller cars, but it did feel real heavy tho. But its fast as hell. Cant wait to drive the 6 Speed Manual when they finally come in.

They are very sweet cars....I actually would take the 5 over the 6....but thats just me....brand new, you'd definitely be spending over 100K. I would actually look at a good condition 996TT instead, but again, thats me.

I know where a convertible M6 is that parks outside if you want to go on a road trip :) it is in oaks, pa.

It is maroon.

They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL cars but sans the gorgeous carbon fiber roof...I would rather have the convertible as the weight is a REALLY big factor in this cars manuverability. I dont think the extra 400 or so lbs is going to greatly affect the overall feel of the car and definitely will not inhibit the joy of the car...in fact...may just be the better of the two...

that being said...the 996tt can be had for under 75k for a great model and will beat the M6 in every performance field if one just invests around 8-9k. That still brings you WELL under the price of the M6...

def a beautiful car though!

996tt
.............................

I've been searching. They are INCREDIBLY cheap for what you get. The 911 turbo has been my dream car since I was about 10, I WILL have one when I decide to pay insurance on the thing.

And to keep on topic, M6's are badass cars, but I think BMW dropped the ball on styling differences. I almost prefer the normal 645 over the M6.
