View Full Version : Bad driver or bad judgement?
So this morning, on my way to school, im driving though a busy 3 way intersection. The road that intersects the one im driving has a stop sign, but its busy as hell. Anyway, as im aproaching the intersection, an SUV pulls out followed by a van, the SUV had plenty of time to go but (assuming here) couldnt see if there was any oncoming traffic so he/she went fairly slow. By the time the SUV was pulling away, i was almost crossing the intersection. The van pulls out anyway. I came within inches of a head on collision. I swerved into oncoming traffic (which was the dumbest move i have ever made driving). Luckly their wasnt anyone over there.
The thing that really pissed me off is that when i pulled over to like chill out, he is right at my door harassing me like crazy. He was flipping out.
Think i did anything wrong here? i dont.

People project their anger on others, rarely themselves.

Similar thing happened to me as well at a 4-way intersection. Old lady made a left turn in front of me as I was going straight and had the right-of-way. She stopped in the middle of the intersection b/c she saw me coming at the last second and was attempting to brake. I had to swerve over the double yellow line and luckily there was no traffic.

Be thank full you did not hit any one. I on the other hand was not so lucky. Coming up on a two lane intersection where both lanes can turn. idiot in the right lane cuts sharply into my lane as im coming to the intersection, no room or time to swerve. hit the brake wheels lock and bang.
The part that really pissed me off is that the cop that came game me a fuccing ticket for careless driving, said a witness said i was following too close. im like  how the hell am i following too close if im in a separate lane? almost flip on the cop, thank heavens the girlfriend was there to calm me down.
I officially hate NJ Cop.

ohh rough, that just simply adds on to how messed up the system is when it comes to accidents.
as for the getting his liscence plate, i wish i did, i tried too but he was on his way. If i where him, i would have pulled over and tried to help out with like calming the person down. I dont know about anyone else, but if i make an error, especially one that may cause an accident, it dawns on me...gotta hate a guilty conscience.
