the hydra is a great system, but may be more than you need at this point. if you are planning to go with a big turbo setup and want to have a custom tune then thats one thing.
however, if you plan to just do exhaust and maybe some other basic mods down the road the Cobb Accessport is a great solution. just dont want you to make it more work and money than you need to.
look at criz's setup, its blazing fast... with a full exhaust and an AP... cant say a bad thing about it.
as far as the coilovers go, take a ride in my car first. dont know if you've ever had them but it may also be unnecessary. i think the STi handles 90% as good as my car but is about 1000x more comfortable. i like my coilovers, but if i were to do it again would probably not have gotten them.
and exhaust... thats all personal preference. do you want it to be loud or quiet or what? maybe some of the guys on here can give you a few ideas.

I "plan" on go all out on this car, big turbo and lots of boost. As for the coils, i really like a stiff ride.
the exhaust i want to be heard but not obnoxious, that all

I can't say how it is on all cars obviously...but I just put on an APEXi N1 3". It's slightly on the loud side, although it does include a silencer you can throw in quickly for times when you need it more quiet.

Overall, it's quieter than my GReddy EVO was, and the tone is less annoying as well.

The GReddy EVO2 is one of the BEST sounding exhausts for the boxer motor.

The blue STi that came to the meet thursday has the EVO2 on it.
