Did this little paint shop just to show you guys what I was talking about before I attempted it.

I was wondering if a Y fitting tapped into the A1 bottles cap would allow the oil to condensate in the bottle. I know a T fitting off of the cap would simply allow the oil to travel along its path to the intake.

I may even put some steel wool or something in the bottle as a filtering element. What do you guys think?

lol Or I could to that! But I still need to know if that Y fitting will get the job done?

hmm... I'd stay away from using anything made from glass in the engine bay, unless you really love A1 that much :)

I also think A1 comes in plastic bottles too :)

Wtf are you talking about?! Its more creative than you can dream. Anywayz, What are you going to do for the bottle threads/brass? GLue it? I would glue a barb at the end of the inlet side and have it protrude in the bottle maybe an inch or so. Some coarse steel wool would be nice for filter but beware of the fibers getting sucked into the black hole!

use a tee and an aquarium checkvalve

Why not just use the air compressor filter housing or whatever it is that all the SRT4 guys buy from home depot for like 5 bones..

i was always under the impression that for a catch can to really do its job it needs baffles in it. Some people i have been told even use steel wool in catch "tank" type catch cans. For example the greddy catch can, as far as i know does not have any baffling inside it and would benefit from something to catch the oil, otherwise you wont catch much oil vapor.

This is not the off topic forums. please label all off topic posts as "OT".. Thank you. ;-)

Back on topic, well, you could make just about any bottle as a catchcan.
