Hey eveybody, Im selling the WRX. I have been laid off and decided to go back to school, so i need a CHEAP, like sub $2000 cheap car. It needs to be reliable, or at least hella easy to work on. I want something fun too, to ease my pain of parting with the rex. I'm looking for old GTI's and Jettas, maybe a 90-94 turbo legacy, or something else. If you all could keep your eyes open, or have suggestions as to what else to look for, please let me know!
Thanks
-Bill
Edit...I also think it would be cool as hell to pimp around a subaru Justy :supz: . Keep your eyes open for one of those too!

Saturns are cheap and hella easy to work on...and if you don't do too much stupid stuff they're fairly reliable.

It's a decently modded saturn without tuning. Saturns need mass amounts of tuning when you put headers and exhausts on them. Christ, mine runs 11:1 afr when cruising. I get 20mpg on highway. Untuned saturns = ass.
I also burn 4 quarts of oil in under 1500 miles cause my cyl3 rings are bad.

i suggest gettin awd for the winter. an early 90's subie wouldnt be a bad pick, or as you said the ej22t legacy.

Not a bad idea, I always liked jeeps. I really like being able to handle well though, and Im not sure about a truck at this point.
That is an interesting avatar BTW
