I bought my PS2 off of ebay for $500 only to recieve a broken PS2.

Damn guys, I cant believe some of you are spending over 1500 on a gaming system!

i mean when they first came out lol

I just bought my little brother a new ps2 for his b-day. I kinda miss mine which stopped reading disks along time ago.

I still have the original PS2 from the first day they were released. Still working. No Problems. Just have to take care of them like any other expensive electronics.

Can you fix mine "Disk Read Errors" all day. Havent played it in years

quick fix on those errors. Just lay the PS2's face down and try running the game. If that doesn't work, maybe some lense cleaner products might do it.

Some times the lens on the ps2 has to be moved up. My friend had to do this on his ps2, as for me I've never had a problem with mine. Still alive and kicking, but I have only seen two that had the disc read error.
