I got my HID's back in yesterday, but the replacement set seems to be a different heat, these look way bluer than my 8k set I had in before..

second, and completly unrelated, should I have some red vent rings made to make my interior a little more matching ?

I'm sure they won't get you pulled over but don't don't expect to see as much at night..

You will be able to see at night but not as well as you would be able to with a lower temp bulb. You are :screwy: if you think otherwise a Google search or a physics class will tell you the same http://www.autolamps-online.com/hidonline/information/whatiscolourtemp.htm

unless you're blind, the visible output from 8k bulbs is more than enough to see even in the dead of night. please, spare the google links, i know all i need to know about lumens and degrees kelven, if I wanted blindly bright light I would have gone with a lower rating ( 6k, or maybe 4k ) but that isn't what I want

I never said you would not be able to see, i said you would be able to see better with a lower temp bulb. That is all.

alrighty, I took it as you saying they dont light up the road, since in the first post you made you were saying they didn't "blast the road with light" when they were 8k+
