Ok I see the other forums getting posted on but nit this one. I have tryed to get people in here but I guess I'm not good enough to chat with, thats cool I understand. But look at the avatar it just go's up and down. But anyway I also want to sayt I got stoped for the first time in my Suby the other night in the lovly town of Seymour CT. And the first thing out of the cops moth was not that I was going to fast it was my windows are to dark(well lets see here it'd dark out and the car is dirty because of the sand and salt all over the raod and it has been to cold to wash) Yes the windows are tinted but not to dark. Then the next thing was not that I was going to fast it was about ny exhaust being stock.(Well lets see here it's 3 1/2" tube to A 4" opening nope it's not stock but it's well below the sound level it needs to be.

Then we get to that I was going 51 in A 40 mile zone. Oh I almost forgot I don't have any logo's on the trunk to tell it's A Suby. BUt what I do have is (IN BIG RED LETTER'S IN THE BACK WINDOW OF MY SUBY IS THE WORD IMPREZA IN I THING 4" LETTERS) Thats so you now what it is when I pass someone going to slow :mrgreen: .

So anyway I get A writen and verbul warning. The pink slip say that if the defective box is checked I need to get the part fixed but the only boxed check is the box marked other and there is nothing writed next to it. So what do I need to get fixed.

If anyone can help me out here.

I made some calls and was told I didn't have to change A thing. But the other nigth I was going to work and stop to pich up something at A gas station. And there was A vally cop there that I know. when I came out of the store he asked me were my front plate was I told him under my front set.

I told him it got knocked off. I was just wait untill I got A new holed for it( YA RIGHT WHO I'M I TRYING TO KID) but anyway he said ok next time I see you I want it on. NO problem I said. SO i asked him what he thought of my tints and my exhaust. He said looks go to me . So I said would you pull me over for it. HE said nope I would for your plate. Ok fare enough. So then I asked him if he liked what how I debaged the trunck and grill. He said yes it gives it A clean look. He was thinking about doing it to his car (mine you he's about 45 years old and A cop on dutie as we're talking) So I ask again would he pull me over for that. He said nope.

So I said I need to go and get to work he said keep up the good job the car looks good. Ho ya he want's me to help him debage his ride next week.

Cool. Front plates suck.
Jersey only lets you tint the rears(rear and rear sides, but I heard any tint is illegal :roll: ). So I never bothered to get the front sides done.
Two cars this way and no problems...




We need more CT members BTW. :thumbup:

I tinted the back and both driver and pass side. And yes we need more CT people in here. This week is going to be great well after Monday. It's going to be50 or more out. Time to go out ans wash every inch or the Impreza :banana:
